About the Artist

Welcome! My name is Romeo, and I’m the artist and owner of Zen Tattoo. Outside of tattooing, I enjoy working out, boxing, kickboxing, creating art, spending time with dogs, singing, and acting.

I’m passionate about learning about different cultures and have a deep appreciation for ancient tattoo traditions—especially traditional Filipino tattooing, also known as batok. I’m fascinated by the spiritual significance behind tattooing, the ceremonies that surround it, and the understanding that tattoos can be more than aesthetic—they can also serve as a form of healing and personal transformation.

I’m also a proud transgender advocate and value being a voice for the community. I believe that living openly and authentically has the power to inspire others and help people feel safe, seen, and confident in their own skin.

Mission

My mission is to create a tattoo design that truly resonates with and aligns with your vision. I’m committed to making sure you feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout your session—so you can fully enjoy the experience and leave feeling confident and happy with your new tattoo.

Vision

During our consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas and vision. What are you looking to get? Do you prefer color or black and grey? How do you want your tattoo to look on your body—and more importantly, how do you want it to make you feel?

Together, we’ll explore the best style, size, and placement to bring your vision to life in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

"I had an amazing experience with Romeo for my first tattoo. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. You can truly feel his passion for his art, and our conversation felt so warm and genuine. I absolutely love my tattoo and couldn't have asked for a better first experience. High recommend Romeo to anyone, especially if it's your first tattoo!
